A man was robbed early this morning by two women he befriended at the Creek Nation Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The man, whose name wasn’t released by the police, had a pretty good streak at the casino winning about $2000 before he met the two women, identified as Lashell Averill (21) and Lashyls Lanimara (21), and proceeded to gamble at the same casino with them. Upon finding out that they were “massage therapists” he then invited them to come home with him to have a few drinks and of course they agreed. Apparently the two had also agreed on something behind his back – that they want to get the money he won and more. According to police officer Jason Willingham the suspects “apparently convinced him they were massage therapists and that they were going to give him a massage, got him partially undressed, then took his wallet and took cash out of the wallet- his winnings from the casino and ran out of the front door.” They took off at around 4am and were arrested by Tulsa PD Officer L. Wolfe by 5am in a nearby convenience store. Search of the suspects’ vehicle yielded a large amount of cash, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
While the story may seem to simply be just humorous now that it ended with the man safe albeit left with his pants down, this should serve as a lesson to all casino players. Remember what your mommy told you when you were little? Don’t talk to strangers. Since you’re now big enough to do this the least you can do is to bring home strangers, especially if you met them at a casino and you just obviously won a decent amount of money!
