Player earns seat in million dollar tourney

Titan Poker has said that a second player was able to qualify for the Tournament Titan Sit & Go Tournament.The player, Franck Thimonier from France, is expected to take his place at what is probably the richest Sit & Go tournament that is ever played online. The tournament has a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.

Based on its rules, only 20 players will be allowed to qualify for the event. This will make each seat worth a very lucrative and impressive $50,000.

Titan Poker came up with the competition as way of finding the world’s best and the most consistent poker tournament player. The qualification guidelines are quite stiff as a player can qualify if he makes the final table three times in a row at any of Titan Poker’s participating tournaments.

Franck Thimonier, who goes by the nickname “supakef”, was able to get the highly sought after seat at the Tournament Titan by being able to finish at the final table at Titan Poker’s $2,000 Guaranteed Prize Freezeout tournaments. Thimonier did the feat over a period of three days.

According to Thimonier, “Even now, I still can’t believe it. When I made the final table for the third time, I felt sure that I was too late and all twenty players had already qualified. But then Titan Poker gave me the fantastic news - first that I was qualified and second that even if I finish last in the Main Event, I will win $25,000.”
